Pass through Yen Minh, a tranquil town surrounded by pine forests and rice terraces, offering a peaceful glimpse into rural highland life. Continue your journey over the dramatic curves of Tham Ma Pass, a winding ascent known for its S-shaped switchbacks and panoramic views—an iconic photography stop in Ha Giang. As you descend, pass through Pho Cao, a charming village characterized by its ancient earthen houses and vibrant buckwheat fields (in season), where H’mong families live in harmony with the landscape. Then tackle the legendary Chín Khoanh Pass (Nine Turns Pass), famous for its sharp bends and breathtaking perspective over layered mountain slopes. Finally, arrive at the iconic Vuong Palace, the former royal residence of the H’mong King. Nestled in a rocky valley, this majestic stone mansion blends Chinese, French, and H’mong architectural styles, telling a vivid story of ethnic pride and political power.
